Shipping of all warranty parts must be paid for by dealers. For any parts ordered other than those that are defective, dealers are expected to return all defective parts in order for us to ship a replacement part. In cases where the parts shipping expense is our responsibility is under defective parts only. Dealers must pay for parts shipping of those parts as well as the part itself. Dealers are responsible for filing their own claims with freight companies. Make sure to inspect your delivery closely to make sure you have received your entire order in full and that nothing is heavily damaged. If there are any discrepancies these must be noted on your bill of lading prior to the driver signing off on it. Retain a copy of the Bill Of Lading for your records, as you may need it if a claim must be filed.
Warranty – End Users
If you purchased your product from one of our many nation wide dealers/distributors, please contact them directly for warranty questions or any other issues you have with your product.
GINOMOTO offers a limited warranty on all scooters as long as the scooter has been operated and maintained according to the recommendations of the manufacturer (see owners manual and website). This warranty covers factory defects and defaults only from the date of purchase. We do not cover misuse or broken parts caused by the user or by any other event. If you have questions about our warranty, please contact our support department. A friendly representative will get back to you quickly.
This warranty covers against all defects in materials and workmanship, subject only to the following conditions and exclusions:
1) To present a claim, customer shall deliver the defective part for exchange to GINOMOTO at his or her own expense.
2) This warranty shall be void if the Customer modifies the "product" in any respect including but not limited to the use of parts other than genuine Factory parts.
3) This limited warranty is applicable only to the customer as an original purchaser of the "product" from GINOMOTO or its authorized dealer/distributor and shall not apply to any subsequent purchaser, assignee or other recipient of the scooter from customer.
4) This limited warranty does not cover plastic shrouding or covers, reflectors, seat upholstery, tires, brakes or clutches as these components are considered wear items. We carry a full line of parts and can replace these items at cost.
5) All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the original purchaser. Any damage during shipping of scooter to customer on initial purchase must be claimed by the customer through the freight delivery company and is not the responsibility of GINOMOTO. All scooters are fully insured for shipping damage.
6) This limited warranty does not apply to any injury, loss, defect or malfunction of the "product" or failure to function resulting from any failure to operate or maintain "product" in accordance with the directions contained in the owners manual provided by the manufacturer; or any injury, loss, damage, defect or malfunction, or failure to function resulting from any accident, acts of God, alterations in the "product" by anyone other than the distributor, or misuse, unreasonable use, tampering, abuse, acts, omissions, failure or negligence by anyone other than manufacturer.
7) These warranties set forth herein are in lieu of other warranties, expressed or implied including warranties of merchantability or fitness. Any such implied warranty imposed by law is limited in duration to six months from date of purchase.
8) Customer represents and agrees that any claims that it may assert against Distributor shall be limited to those that may be asserted under the foregoing limited warranty.
9) In the event of necessary warranty work please contact GINOMOTO prior to any work being done. You will need to provide the scooter model number and serial number. This information is available on your bill of sale/invoice. We may help you determine what, if any, part is defective.
10) GINOMOTO will make every effort to get scooters up and running as quickly as possible.
This warranty does not include labor, wearable parts, damage from abuse, misuse or neglect or damage incurred during shipping. If you have a part that needs replacing please CONTACT US and we will send the part within a reasonable period of time or advise you of the lead-time if longer. If a part is not in stock, it may take up to 8 weeks to come from China. All parts must be returned before a new one can be sent out. If a problem cannot be diagnosed over the phone, we may ask you to bring the scooter to a motorcycle shop, at your expense including labor, for diagnosis. We will consult with mechanic and furnish any needed, warranted parts as outlined above.
Warranty - Container Orders
Container pricing is deeply discounted over normal product orders and therefore is subject to the following:
Container orders have no warranty on products.
In exchange for the normal warranty being voided, the container if ordered with all one model will get 1-2% of parts with it.
Mixed containers do not receive any % of parts with them however we will work with any container customer to resolve defective parts issues as long as standard Defective Parts Policies have been followed.
Container customers are responsible for buying parts to support, any and all warranty terms offered to end users, and wholesale customers that they are supplying. |
